The goal for my future in basketball is to hopefully play at the collegiate level upon graduating high school. I believe I would be a great asset to any team because I am truly a team player. I have worked very hard to be an all-around versatile player as well as a good teammate. I believe that having a solid relationship with your teammates is what leads to a successful season. I also believe that good sportsmanship is at the core of what makes a good player. Something that makes me different than other recruits is my build. From the time I was 4, I have always been the smallest on the court. This year, as a freshman on Varsity, I was constantly looked at before games and I could see the smirks on people's faces. However, by the end of the game, I always felt that I was able to prove why I was on Varsity. Although playing people who are a foot or more taller than me is intimidating, I have never let my height hold me back. I also believe that my strong sense of leadership and thirst for knowledge about the game are valuable characteristics I can bring to a team. In my high school, I am currently involved in basketball and golf, I am on the BBQ cooking team, and FFA activities. My current academics have stayed in the As and Bs range since starting high school. Thank you for your time and I look forward to growing as a basketball player and hopefully reaching the goal of playing college ball one day.
