Personal Statement
My name is Omar Jackson. God and Family comes first, then school, then basketball and then everything else. I stand by the concept of being a "student-athelete". Basketball is a big part of me. I started playing basketball when I was 3 years old and I instantly fell in love with the game. I've played rec, AAU, and high school basketball. I currently play for Grassfield High School's varsity under coach Andy Scwerzler. My position is the shooting guard. I am a 6'1 and 165 pound guard. My freshman year, I led the j.v team in scoring. I can offer a team heart. I believe that a team with heart can beat anybody. With the heart I have, I believe that I can be the best. My goal is to be the best. My dream college is the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I hope to one day play D1. I'm willing to put in work and dedication to be the best.
