Three key areas of my life that have contributed greatly to my development are family, education, and sports.
My family has repeatedly sacrificed their time and money to afford me the opportunity to play multiple sports, work with great coaches, and develop solid fundamentals. I have learned from them to always be a leader, to stick up for what I believe in, and to stick up for others who can’t.
Education is critical to my success today and in the future. Though I love to play sports, I truly understand that my hard work in school will lead to greater success on the basketball court and create opportunities in life. School has taught me to prioritize the important things in my life and take action to do what needs to be done as soon as possible.
I have participated in organized sports (basketball, football, soccer) since I was four years old. In the years that I have played, I have learned to focus on fundamentals. I see my teammates as family and will be there for them on and off the court. Communication is also critical in sports and makes all the difference between players who compete as individuals and teams who work together to win.
I am passionate about basketball and football and love the competition. With my family’s support, I have worked with numerous coaches who helped develop my skills and believed in me as a player. I am ready to play, ready to learn more, and ready to work.
