Karson Holt '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karson Holt and I am an Enumclaw High School senior in Washington state. By graduation I will be a four-year letter winner in three sports football, basketball, and baseball and taken all league honors in each.  I've applied that work ethic to academics as well and have been a scholar athlete with a 3.8 cumulative GPA .  My goal is to continue to play competitively while earning a degree at your university.  My future goals are to a play collegiate sport and compete at a high level as well as graduate.  One of my favorite hobbies is playing golf in which I work hard to maintain my competitive handicap.

What you won't see in this letter, but what I believe surfaces on the playing field or court is my versatility, team-first attitude and competitiveness during practice and in the heat of a close contest. I'm a quick learner and a good listener with an above-average understanding of each sport.  I have been fortunate with my teammates to have many successful seasons and the chance to compete for state titles in all three sports. 

Some of the characteristics that I feel make me stand out is my ability to be a leader as well as my attitude and coachability.  I don't only believe in just playing sports, but pride myself in being accountable in the classroom with getting my work done effectively and on time. I always have been a follower of the coaches process no matter what and and respect the outcomes.  I have developed a great passion and a love for basketball and that is why I want to pursue this sport in my future.  I would love the opportunity to play basketball at your school and promise to bring a work ethic and skill set like no other.
