Nicolas Morales '21 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Senior at Saint George’s School in Spokane, WA where I am taking a rigorous International Baccalaureate academic program while playing three varsity sports. I will graduate in June 2021 with an IB Diploma.  I was recently awarded the 2020 Williams College Book Award which recognizes a student with intellectual leadership who has made a significant contribution to the extracurricular life of their school.  

I am willing to do whatever it takes to play collegiate basketball. I will work until my feet are numb, and then some. If basketball has taught me anything its how to work hard and has turned me into an elite hustle player and an athlete with extreme drive and tenacity. I worked hard to earn my starting spot on our Varsity team in my junior year where I lead the team in rebounding (8.1rpg) and averaged 11.5 ppg. Please consider me when searching for your 2021 recruits, I will work harder than anyone else and prove to you that I will be an asset to your program.   

Due to Covid my summer basketball season was cancelled.  I've been working out every day both on the court and on my fitness through a workout regime that I put together as part of my Extended Essay research project for my IB Diploma.  I've added 15lbs to my max bench press, 20lbs to my max deadlift and have seen an overall improvement in my strength and cardio levels.  I've improved my jumpshot, agility and vertical leap  while completing daily on court workouts to keep my basketball skills sharp.  I'm looking forward to my varsity team getting back on the court as soon as Covid restrictions allow.
