Patrick McCarthy '22 Recruiting Profile

My aspirations for college are to get a degree in engineering and hopefully go onto creating my own business in that field. Golf is also a very important part of my life. I started playing competitive golf rather late in my freshmen year of high school. I am completely self-driven and have improved immensely this past year. I hope to make it as far as I can in competitive golf and college golf is the perfect next step. I would be a good candidate for your team because of my tremendous work ethic and willingness to sacrifice for golf. I am doing well in school with a cumulative GPA of 3.807 at the competitive private school of Saint George's in Spokane, Washington. I dedicate my improvement over the last year to my swing coach, Kathy G-Jensen (2014 PGA national teacher of the year). I am excited to improve over the next couple of years and hopefully get a chance to play on a college golf team some day.
