Swimming is something that has always been apart of my life, I practically grew up in the water. Even though I started swimming when I was 6, I still grew up competing in a variety of different sports. Within the last couple of years, of swimming, I've realized that swimming is what I'm most passionate about, and it is what I want to pursue further in college. Recently I have been improving dramatically in the water, and my hard work is allowing me to continue to get faster, and stronger each, and every day at practice. One of my favorite parts about swimming is the team atmosphere, and energy at meets, I love encouraging my teammates to become the best that they can be, while also focusing on my personal goals. In college, I would love to swim competitively for a school that provides the highest level of competition possible for me, and I'm open to a variety of options that would push myself to be the best, both athletically and academically. Family is also very important to me, and above all I want my parents and siblings to be proud of who I will become.
Along with challenging myself, in the pool, I also challenge myself academically. I'm currently taking all IB (International Baccalaureate) classes, along with trying to maintain a high GPA, and I'm an IB diploma candidate. I'm taking higher leveled science, and Spanish classes, with the IB, and these are the classes that I plan on focusing on more, in college.
