I’m Excited to announce my commitment to Whitman College. I appreciate all the interest and conversations that have been had within the recruiting process.
I began playing basketball in the third grade and have always wanted to play at the collegiate level. Until now I didn’t believe that was in the cards, but over the past year things started to fall into place. I truly caught the “basketball bug”, focused on my training, started to use my size effectively, and began to dominate the competition.
I am not just a Basketball player though, I am a student as well. Despite my issues with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia I strive to maintain a high GPA. I challenge myself by taking AP classes, and volunteer with my school through the National Honor Society. Additionally I have a great impact in my community through my work coaching with local basketball non-profits, including one started by my dad.
I am looking for a school that will challenge me academically, and will provide me with a basketball program that enables me to become my best self--both as a player and as a person.
I also scored 1400 on my SAT which is in the 95% of test takers.
