I've been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. From the beginning I was always a top tier player on our team. I feel a real passion for the sport and at all possible times I am always trying to improve my game. I don't give all of the credit to myself though. I thank all of my coaches, friends, and family for making me the ball player I am. But, I thank my family the most because of the hours of work that they make me put in each and every day. I also thank them for the genes they gave me. My dad is 6'4 and my mom is also on the taller side standing at 5'10.
I feel like I am a good addition to any team because I am very versatile being able to shoot the ball, pass the ball, and just overall make plays when I have the ball in my hands. Although I am better on the offensive side, I still am a decent defender and rebounder. Being 6’1 makes me nearly the tallest player both on my basketball team and grade level and still being able to play as a forward, center and guard.
Off the court, I strive to get good grades and maintain a good GPA. Schooling in my household is more important than basketball. Every day homework is the first thing that gets done before anything else happens. My parents say no basketball if I don't get good grades. Currently, as a freshman in high school I am taking algebra 2. As a sophomore I am set to take pre calculus and trigonometry, which means that I will hopefully be taking college courses my junior and senior years.
