Hello, coach my name is Rocco Richie I'm a senior in high school at Mount Horeb High School. I'm a 6'2 SG/PG that can guard multiple positions. My love for basketball started at the age of 9. Basketball has always been more than just a sport for me, it's my happy place. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my basketball career, I have always strived to be an asset and an all-around team player. I conduct myself with honor and respect both on and off the court, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my family, my team, my coaches, and my school.
I have strong ball-handling skills, can catch and shot as well as shoot off the dribble. I am constantly developing my ball pressure defense, pass pressure defense, and defending shooters. I'm very coachable and push myself to be the hardest working player on the court. My goal is to be coached hard and part of a strong basketball culture.
Off the court, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. My collegiate goals are to achieve a degree in kinesiology so that I can train and teach young athletes injury prevention techniques and skills specifically related to basketball. I also some interest in the business field that I may also pursue. I want to find the college that's right for me and will allow me to compete as well as learn at the level I push myself, in order to fulfill my goals.
