Personal Statement

My passion is basketball, and my goal is to play on a college team, where I will form real relationships, and for whom I can contribute the most. My belief is "Team First," and I strive to put my teammates in a position where they can be most successful. That means I am willing to play any role that helps the team. I love practice as much as games, and play at the same intensity, and I work as hard in the off season as I do in season. Loyal, committed, positive, fun loving, coachable,  and honest are just a few of the words that coaches and teammates have used to describe me.

  • "2020 Max Klesmit, a 6 ft 3 guard out of Neenah, WI. He had a great summer for my team leading us to a 6 and 2 mark in the NY2LA Association. He excelled playing against some of the best competition in the Midwest. Currently he is the 20th ranked player in the state in the class of 2020. As a sophomore last year he was 2nd team all-conference in the Fox Valley Association. The FVA was once again the top conference in the state with both the D1 state champion Oshkosh North team, with Iowa State signee Tyrese Haliburton, and the D2 state champion Kaukauna team, led by West Virginia recruit Jordan McCabe. Max averaged 14ppg while shooting 47% from the field. His game is a little bit James Harden like in that he can shoot the 3 and create his own shot finishing with both hands at the basket. He spends a lot of time on the free throw line as well. He is, in my opinion, without a doubt a scholarship player . He is a gym rat that just keeps getting better. Great family and great kid. Please keep an eye on him this high school season and when we play in the NY2LA Association again this upcoming spring." Rich Kuranda, Head Coach Blizzard Association Team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
