My name is Benjamin Psicihulis and I am a 2017 basketball player at Kettle Moraine H.S. in Wales, WI. I am a 6'2 point guard or shooting guard as of my sophomore year of high school.
My biggest strengths are my vision of the court and my quick feet. I have good size and the ability to get to the goal. Being on the volleyball team increased my vertical and timing on blocks. Now I’m playing football to increase my strength and better my speed. On the track team I did high jump, long jump along with running on the 400 relay team. All these things have made me an all-around better basketball player and athlete. I know the value of hard work and dedication to becoming the best I can be and a major contributor to every team I play for. I am considered a gym rat and am proud of it! I pride myself in my work ethic both on and off the court. I want to play for a college team that values me being a good student, having a hard work ethic, toughness, dedication, being a team player, being a play maker, and having a desire to win!
I am looking for a university with a competitive basketball program as well as an excellent academic reputation. I currently have a 3.2 GPA. I will be taking my ACT this year. At my H.S all Juniors take the ACT at the same time .I am not sure yet of my direction of study, perhaps the Health field or law. I do not have a preference of the location or size of the school. I have family all over the country and have no specific ties to the Midwest. I want to play at the highest level and be competitive. I know that it will be hard work but I want to challenge myself. I also enjoy the camaraderie of being on a team and a part of something that is successful. I believe my best fit would be at the D-1 level but I am also open minded to learn of other possibilities.
I come from a basketball back ground and have been working my skills since an early age. I have a twin brother that plays both basketball and Lacrosse but his first love is Lacrosse. This made for some very good games in the driveway all my life.
Thank you for your consideration.
