I'm excited about the opportunity to dive for a college or university. I'm looking for a coach and team that bring out the best in me athletically, academically, and socially.
I was the team Captain on my high school dive team freshman, sophomore, junior and senior year. I placed 8th at FHSAA 3A state competition in my junior and senior year. I was awarded Pasco County Male Diver of the Year in my freshman (2A) and Junior years (3A) and Senior year (3A). I letter in my freshman year. Whether rain or shine, I'm always at the pool working to better myself year-round. I love my team and work hard to support them. I'm very coachable and listen to the coach's directions and corrections. I will not stop until I have fixed the problems.
I'm now 19 and have been taking classes at Pasco Hernando State College. As you are quite aware, COVID-19 had an affect on my and state of mind and had me rethinking everything that I thought I want to do in the next chapter of my college life. I've taken some time to rethink a lot my educational needs and what I want to do and where I want to attend college. I'm now a certified swim coach, and I'm currently teaching infant to adult swim classes, as well as private lifeguarding, as well as working a part time job. Since I'm still local, my high school swim and dive coach has asked me to assist coaching my high school dive team, as well as judging dive competitions. We currently have 3 girls and 4 boys on the team and they are benefiting from my experience in diving and I'm enjoying the sport again. Therefore, I'm really wanting to dive on the college level. I know that I have a lot to contribute to a college team. I'm still training with my dive coach and I'm stronger now than when I was in high school.
Having a moderate stutter, I was quiet and reserved before learning to dive. I joined my high school swimming and diving team, then suddenly became more talkative, outgoing, and interactive with my teammates and classmates. Growing up I enjoyed pushing myself to the limits in Taekwondo and earned my 1st Degree Black Belt, but the first time I stepped onto the diving board I felt at home and fell in love with the sport.
If you think that I would be a great fit for your team, please reach out to so we can speak further about any opportunities with your team.
