Personal Statement
From a young age, I’ve loved flips and tumbling, especially off the diving board. When I was 12, the diving coach at my summer pool noticed my enthusiasm and invited me to join the dive team. I thought, Why not? That sounds fun.
That summer, I competed in the All Stars, placing 5th, and discovered a deep passion for diving. Motivated to improve, I signed up for year-round lessons and have since qualified for the All Stars every summer, achieving a personal best of 3rd place.
My dedication paid off when I was invited to join the National Development Team. Now a member of my high school dive team, I continue to work hard, practicing daily to refine my craft and pursue excellence in this sport I love.
