Benjamin Butler Personal Statement
I have recently started diving and have already found it to be very rewarding and enjoyable to do. I started about two months before state and only went to 1-2 practices a week and still managed to make it into finals at state. Mainly I do trampoline and tumbling gymnastics which requires a lot of dedication. I go to 2-3 hour practices four days a week, while also going to diving. I managed to get into diving so quickly because I am a fast learner and have a lot of determination to be the best I can be. I'm not only driven in sports, but academically as well. I'm enrolled in mostly honors/AP courses and have very good grades. I excel in and am most interested in my math and science classes, but I also enjoy Latin.
