I am a driven individual who always looks for ways to better myself. After several years of not wrestling I decided to pursue the sport again. My Freshman year I was considered JV/Varsity and won the JV Regional Championship. I was also voted Most Valuable Freshman. My sophomore year I was once again JV/Varsity but obtained a 4th place finish in Regional's and qualified for both team and individual State Championships opportunities. To better succeed in this sport I have also participated in club wrestling and weight training in the off season. My Junior year I have been considered Varsity and so far obtained both team and individual state Championships opportunities. I don't just show up, I continue to push myself.
I have a 3.00 GPA and continue to strive to increase that level also. I have taken college placement endeavors in Marketing as well. A well rounded individual is a family motto. My parents have instilled in me that we need to help others as well. I have volunteered to work with our Food Pantry as part of a service club at my High School and worked with the American Cancer Society as a Relay for Life volunteer. Working with a Peer Assistance program is one of my proudest accomplishments.
I believe I would be an asset to any wrestling and college academic program. I would love to attend a college where I can achieve my academic goals and where I show my personal integrity on the wrestling mat. I hope to continue to be a great role model to my peers, family, and my community.
