Alexander Reese '24 Recruiting Profile

I am currently entering my junior year in high school at Atascocita High School in Humble, TX. I was a gymnast from the age of 4 until my Freshman year of high school when I decided to switch to diving. I started out with just the high school team but when I switched from gym, I added club diving. After missing regionals by one place as a freshman, I exceeded my goals this past year by placing first in districts, third at regionals and earning a place at state. 

After a bit of trial and error, I found my club home at the Woodlands Diving Academy this past March. This year I met my goals of having a full 1.5 list on 1 and 3 Meter as well as a 2.5M list on 3M. My goal for the next year is to work towards my 2.5 list on 1M and to increase my dd on 3M. In order to do this, I am adding in morning practices at The Woodlands Diving Academy by going virtual through my high school.  Academically, my goal is to take the SAT and apply for National Honor Society.

I believe I am a hard worker and am coachable. I work hard to support my teammates as well as other members of the sport that I have met and developed friendships with.
