Personal Statement

My dream has been to play collegiate golf  and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to pursue this goal while also studying engineering. My passion for golf, along with my intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic, makes me a unique candidate for your team. I have a 4.0+ GPA, a tournament scoring average of 73, and a 1,6 handicap. These achievements reflect my commitment to excelling both on the course and in the classroom. I constantly strive to improve my skills and push myself to be the best athlete and student I can be. What sets me apart from other recruits is my character. I am a team player who is always willing to lend a helping hand to my teammates, whether on the course or in the classroom. I am known for my positive attitude, resilience, and ability to learn from my mistakes. In addition to my athletic and academic abilities, I have a strong passion for engineering. I am excited about the opportunity to combine my love of golf with my passion for problem-solving and innovation.

I had my C game but was still able to shoot a decent enough score to keep me 3 back. The second day I understood the course better being even the first 13 holes. I got an unfortunate lie in a bunker causing me to have a my only double in the tournament. I ended being focused and believing in myself no matter what happened during that first day. I ended up coming back from 3 shots back to almost winning the tournament and losing by 1. SECOND POSITION

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
