Hi, my name is Wyatt Racette. I'm 6'2'', 190 pounds and currently a 1 handicap. My goal is to become the best in the world one day and I will do whatever it takes to get there. I don't care if I have to get up at 5AM to practice or stay out on the range for hours upon hours in the summer heat because I understand this is what it takes to become great. I do everything from meditation to reading books about sport psychology to even further separate myself from other golfers my age. Each morning I wake up and think about what I need to do today to make myself better than I was yesterday. I constantly visualize myself as champion and I believe that each drive I hit on the range, each three footer I make on the green, each rep in the gym brings me closer and closer to my goal. As long as I am able to compete in an atmosphere where there are high level golfers and study what I have always dreamed of studying as a child, it doesn't matter where the institution is because I know I will accel wherever I may be. In addition to leading my high school golf team for three years now and competing on Team Canada in the 2011 British Columbia/Washington Team Matches, I was an outstanding athlete in sports such as football, basketball, hockey, and lacrosse so I feel very comfortable competing in a group. I've been told by several peers that my enthusiasm and work ethic often inspires them and I know this leadership I posses will transition to college without difficulty. I'm very grateful to have my profile sent out like this and glad you took the time to read what I have to say. I hope you see my drive and determination and feel the same way I do about being a great asset to your team. Thank you.
