I am a late bloomer in the game of golf. I started the sport when I was 13 years old, and have dedicated countless hours to make myself a well-rounded player with the aspiration of playing college golf and making it to the PGA Tour. Over these last 4 years, one of the greatest strengths I've developed is my ability to keep a calm mind in stressful situations, on and off the golf course. I am trustworthy and am recognized as a player who is unphased by a bad shot and will continue to fight for his round.
I have been inspired by a lot of great players who have made a difference in the lives of others. I want to use golf as a platform to do something for humanity. All my life, I have been a devoted Sikh, and have volunteered at my local Sikh Temple in Tracy. This has taught me responsibility for my duties as a volunteer as well as my duties as a human being. If I can make a positive impact on even one person's life, that'll be an honor.
Many golf recruits have a dream to make themselves shine as an amazing collegiate player. However, I want to make my team's name shine and see it on the top of every leaderboard there is. My goal is only to make my team better, and if I get recognition, that is just a positive side effect. Past golf, I take time to study the stock market and investment strategies to pursue a career in business management or finance. If not the PGA Tour, I hope to work in a private equity firm and help others with investment strategies.
