Overview
I am in the graduating class of 2022 at De La Salle High School in Concord, California. I have three years of starting experience on my varsity team, as well as 10+ years of competitive golf experience, competing in Junior Northern California Tournaments. Typically, I play in the number three or four spot on my team. I have recently been selected to represent Northern California (top 8 players) with the Junior Tour of Northern California to compete in the Norcal vs. So Cal Match Play Championship at Poppy Hill in December 2021.
Background
I’d like to tell you a little bit about my background. I was one of only two players in my freshman class who competed on the Varsity Team. Scoring a 73 at North Bay Sections. Competed in States as a freshman and was one of the five team members whose scores were accounted for at states. Personal best tournament round 68 in JGANC Tournament Series. Current handicap +2.9
Lessons Learned
Playing golf at the highest levels for over 10 years has taught me the highs and lows of the game. I've learned about myself and the mental toughness required to keep my composure during the heat of competitive golf. Playing on my Varsity team has taught me the importance of personal motivation and dedication to the game, so I can show up and contribute. I enjoy meeting new people and peers during my travels and tournaments with golf, and am excited to continue to advance my game to play at the collegiate level.
