Alexander-Philip Ortiz '25 Recruiting Profile

I began wrestling my freshman year and have loved the sport ever since. I feel like I have already grown tremendously both as an athlete, student and person, all stemming from wrestling, and I wish to continue my journey to the highest possible level. One important thing to know about me is my obsession and drive toward my goals and my love of this sport. This trait has allowed me to constantly level up in this sport and will continue to guide me toward moving forward. My ultimate goal more so than a metal is to have the ability to compete with and defeat anyone in the nation. Academically, my grades have steadily increased throughout high school, as seen by my transcript, and I hope to continue on this upward trend.
