Aung Myat '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Aung Myat. Golf has been a very big part of my life since I was at the age of 5, and to play at the collegiate level has always been my dream. But as for golf, it has always come second after my education. That way I can play golf without worrying about my academics. Throughout my high school career, I have been playing golf with a personal coach and almost practice every day. Even with consistent practices, I managed to maintain an above 4.0 GPA throughout high school. My goals towards college would be to excel in both golf and academics so I would have options to build up my future. I make a great candidate for any team because once I am committed to playing golf in a team, I can assure the team to not have to worry about my academics and have me focus on golf at all times. My best skill which is time management also set me apart from other recruits because I am able to balance myself in both aspects of golf and academics.
