Starting at the beginning of ninth grade I joined the Plano Senior High School golf team to grow not only as a golfer but as person as well. Golf has given me the opportunity to pursue a passion of mine all while showing strong ethical characteristics as a person. With only having played for over 2 years I feel as though I can compete with players that have played since they could walk. I am completely self taught aside from the tips that I have picked up from my high school coach and teammates so I feel like I have tremendous potential with the right coaching staff that will allow me to rise to the top and never look back. I am extremely driven and focused on my game, and know that with the right fit accademically and athletically I will be able to settle in and lead a team with my competitiveness. Losing is never the correct term to use when not coming in first place, because when you do not win you learn from your mistakes and gain knowledge of how to move forward and better yourself.
I am looking for a program that suits me not only athletically, but academically as well. Academics do not take a back seat to golf, as a good balance is needed to create a positive experience. I am capable of competing at the highest level and know that my drive to get better will never stop. I am a leader by heart and know that my leadership will benefit any program.
