My name is Jackson Philbin. Golf is my passion. I really like playing it and I work very hard at it. I started playing golf the summer before my freshman year of high school. This is later than a lot of my teammates and competitors but through hours of practice, I have improved my scoring to where it is today (mid 70s).
I am a honest and trustworthy person that tries to do the right thing. I have a strong work ethic both on the golf course and in the classroom. I have a quiet personality, but am not afraid to speak out when I need to.
My goal for this year and next is to improve my handicap to a zero to help my team win the State Championship.
My 2-5 year goal is to play golf in college, preferably on a scholarship. Playing for a Division I team is my dream, but I will ultimately play for a school and team that feels right for me.
My ultimate goal is to play on the PGA tour. I will continue to work hard now, through college, and after college to attain this goal.
