Personal Statement

I love golf for many reasons. I started playing when I was 9 years old, a bit later than most, but I quickly fell in love with the game. It challenges both my mental and physical abilities, which is something I search for in a sport. I love the feeling of being out on the course, surrounded by nature and the peacefulness that comes with it. The focus and concentration required to play the game is also one of the reasons I love this game. The feeling of hitting a great shot and watching it soar through the air is unmatched. Golf is a sport that requires patience, discipline, and practice, and I find that it helps me stay grounded and in the present moment. College golf would be a wonderful place to pursue my ongoing journey of this game.
