Collin Yee '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been fortunate to be blessed with athleticism that allowed me to play a number of different sports my entire life including golf, basketball, baseball and karate. I have been golfing since I was 2 years old and I currently start for the Davis Senior High School (Division 1A) Boys Varsity team as a freshman. Our high school team is the Delta League Champion (2017) and I am an All League Golfer (Top 10). I play in a number of junior golf tournaments throughout the year in Hurricane Junior Tour and Northern California Golf Association Junior Tour events. As a freshman, I was selected to play for Davis Senior High School Boys Varsity Basketball team as a point guard. My experiences in playing different team sports has helped me with playing on a golf team. The team leadership, commitment and support experiences from team sports have benefited me in team golf. I have learned discipline and respect from my 10 years in karate, which I hold a third degree black belt. I have a 4.0 grade point average in school and I have proven the ability to effectively balance academics with athletics. The combination of my success in golf, team leadership, discipline and balance in academics and athletics will allow me to be successful in my endeavors in playing collegiate golf.
