I really enjoyed playing at the highest level for youth hockey, which is AAA. So far, I have played one season with the San Jose Jr. Sharks, and I am coming back for the 2019-20 season. Although this past season was my favorite season, I feel that I gained the edge over others in my Squirt Major year. This was the 2015-16 season when I was 10 years old. My coach at the time, Tyler Parker (WHL alumni) really helped me succeed at such a young age, as he taught me to stickhandle every day. I would wake up at 6:00 am every morning before school and spend 20 minutes just practicing. Even though this was hard work, I loved it.
As a young kid, my work ethic was exceptional. This helped my development as an athlete and a scholar. But, you also need good coaching. I am fortunate to be surrounded by phenomenal coaching. The most notable three coaches I work/worked with are Larry Cahn, Tyler Parker, and Evgeny Molotilov. Larry Cahn has created many D1 players, and also was a great part of Alec Martinez's youth career. Coach Cahn also gave me the Alec Martinez Scholarship. This was a scholarship from the Vacaville Jets (youth team) and is only given once a year. I was nominated for this back in my Peewee year, so I was really young. Tyler Parker is a former WHL player, and Evgeny Molotilov is a former OHL, Russian National Junior Team, and KHL player. Not to mention, I have had straight A's in this entire process. I am a 3-time captain, leader, kind, respectful, and skilled player pursuing a college career for hockey and academics. I am looking for a college that is very strong academically and athletically, as I am working towards being a pro player and a doctor.
