Connor Murphy '22 Recruiting Profile

I have played a variety of sports growing up, including baseball, flag football, and soccer. I have an athletic family with my twin brother and my father being very competitive.  I committed to being serious about golf in 2018 before my freshman year in high school. It was essentially starting over as I had not played for several years. I have worked really hard to improve and continue to work hard. I practice or play 6 days a week. I take lessons from a private instructor. My game and my scores have progressively gotten lower, from the 90s to the 80s, to now shooting in the 70s on a regular basis.  I am a very good student, a good friend, and a hard worker. I am committed to being the best student, person, and player I can be and I will work every day to make that happen. I am often the only person on the range or the last person there as I continue to try to make improvements on my game. As hard as I work on my golf game, I am equally committed to my education. I am interested in business and finance and currently maintain a GPA above 4.0.
