Jax Collins '21 Recruiting Profile

Jax Collins - 2021 Freshman Transfer.

During my Senior year in High School, I received 4 offers to play golf from various 4 year Colleges across the Nation and was very thankful for each one. Eventually, I committed to and received a Scholarship from Ave Maria University in Florida. Unfortunately, once I began to attend school there I found that I was mislead and the golf program was disorganized and no tournaments had been planned, nor had practice been initiated.  The school also turned out to not a fit for me personally, so I have decided to transfer after fall semester and am very interested in finding a new College  and Golf home where I can thrive.

Just a few things about me: I am honest, humble, smart, tough, hard working, and have great work ethic. As an outstanding Student Athlete, I aspire and have the drive and ability to play Collegiate golf at its highest level. I am a great teammate and team player. Introduced to golf at a young age, I have remained a dedicated student of the game and am always looking for new ways to improve on and off the course. My mental maturity has always been beyond my age.  Golf has taught me many important values in life and will always carry my utmost respect.  Highlight career stats: shot a 73 at Torrey Pines North (never played it before), Low score 67 (-5) par 72, average drive 340 yds, hole in one 4/21/2020 from 197yds - 7iron, longest drive center of fairway=383 yds.

I love the Game of Golf, and spend a lot of time in the outdoors. My hope is to attend a College with outstanding Academics in an area with access to the things I love.
