My goal for college is to graduate with a degree in an area that interests me, while also making the most of my college experience. This includes my goal of playing college soccer. I believe that I will be a valuable asset to any team and that I have what it takes to play at the next level. My game is centered around retaining possession and getting the ball out of my feet quickly. I'm not afraid of stepping up in big moments, which is why I am the penalty kick taker for my club team.
I used to play in the Developmental Academy (DA) until my former DA coach recruited me to come to my current club team, Westminster Soccer. Not playing DA has also allowed me to play with my high school team. My high school team is very successful. We won the 2018 4A Jefferson County League, and we are currently ranked as a top team in Colorado. My high school team has a very rigorous program, and I believe that my time playing in high school will translate well to my ability to meet the demands of college soccer, as we practice 6 days a week during the season and had player-led trainings nearly every day during the summer.
Academically I am an extremely strong student, and I'm a member of the National Honor Society. I also work as a soccer referee and volunteer at the United States Geographical Survey. The most important thing for me in my college search is finding a school that is a good fit for me academically.
