Personal Statement

I started playing golf as soon as I could hold a golf club. At age 5 I began officially training through the after school golf program at my  elementary school. I played in multiple tournaments throughout elementary school sometimes winning trophies as tall as myself.  But, in middle school I took a break to play other sports. In high school I decided to pick the sticks back up.   I am consistently the number 1 or 2  golfer on the T.R. Robinson golf team. My Freshman, Sophomore and Junior scores helped advance our 3A golf team to Regionals 3 years in a row for the first time in a few years.  As a Senior my goal is to advance to State. I am enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program known for its academic rigor. In the future I want to be a neurologist but right now I'd like to be a player on  your golf team.
