Personal Statement

My name is Brady Serafin, and I am going to be a Senior at Beecher HS.  I’m an NHS member, a four year varsity letterman in golf, and an honors student in the rural town of Beecher Illinois.  I am a hard working player and student and have maintained a 4+ GPA since my freshman year.  Because my father is a HS golf coach and competitive golfer, I've been around golf my whole life.  I have always loved to be on the course either playing, practicing, or working for my home course.   The constant challenges of the game, drive me to get better every day, and since I started playing, I've worked to improve my consistency and game through good coaching and practice.  It's not always been easy, I've had to work for every gain, and I appreciate the process and challenges this game gives us.  I believe my hard work will pay off when I'm a college student.

Since I was a freshman, my goal and dream has been to get a great education and play golf at the highest level in college I could.  I’m motivated to continue to be a leader and difference maker for my team.  Whether by score or example I want to make in impact.  I'm hoping to find that fit with a university that has a team oriented competitive golf program, great practice facilities, and supportive environment to help me develop as a person and a player.   Thank you for your time and interest.
