Dear Coach,
My name is Robert Rardin and I am in the class of 2019 at Charleston, IL High School. I am an Eagle scout and a high honor student with at 3.9 GPA. I aspire to be in the medical field. My aspirations in the medical field drives me to earn good grades and work hard in all aspects in my life. I am a member of the National Honor Society at my school.
I have been a varsity letter winner on my schools golf team all four years of high school. I also play in off season golf tournaments winning the Prep Tour event at TPC Deere Run my sophomore year and several Prep Tour events this past summer. I have been an all-conference golfer my sophomore, junior and senior years as well as All-State my junior year. I finished in sixth-place in the 2A Illinois State Tournament with a 146 two-day score (79+67). My senior season included all regional and all sectional honors as well as a top 20 finish in 2A in the Illinois State Tournament. My team repeated as class 2A state champions. I was able to lower my scoring average to in tournaments to 74 this season.
I am very excited to play at the next level and anxious to see where college and the game of golf takes me.
