Dear Coaches,
Although I'm a junior its important to note I am seriously considering a gap year to train at an academy such as the IJGA in Florida and develop my skills and lower my scores. I grew up playing baseball at a high level and did not start playing competitive golf until junior year of high-school, now my main focus is golf. This summer 2024 I plan on playing in around 15 AJGA, MAJGT, and Illinois events. I also focus heavily on strength and conditioning, and my overall health and fitness is very important to me. In the classroom I am extremely dedicated and I love to learn. I understand how difficult it is to play in college and I'm committed to the amount of work I have to put in on and off the golf course. I absolutely love the grind and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to compete at the next level. I'm an outgoing guy and I hope to contribute to the team dynamic in any way possible.
Off the course I'm heavily involved in my community. I started Teen Innovators (NPO) which focuses on exposes young minds to the opportunities in business, and allows older teens to become involved in business management. I also volunteer once a week as a tutor at my church. I'm the President of Polynesian Club at Lane Tech, where we learn about the culture and perform Polynesian dances choreographed by professional dancers from Tahiti. Finally, I'm heavily involved with the Special Education program at Lane Tech, where I work with students with special needs to develop their social skills and learning boundaries.
