Hello, my name is Dean Netzel, I have had an interest in golf for quite some time. Golf isn't just a hobby, it's apart of me which is why I want to take it to the collegiate level where I can pursue my dream to be a professional golfer, make people happy, make a college proud to say I played for them, and keep my competitive juices flowing. While being very competitive, I am very laid back and relaxed. I get things that I need to do done while taking life in slowly and worth while. Along with bringing a sense of laid back personality to a team I will bring leadership and confidence to a team because I have been apart of many leadership teams and clubs that I have been asked to join and been recommended for. I love working and building strong relationships with my peers and meeting new people all the time. As much as golf means to me, my studies for school are just as big as apart of my dream as golf is. My grades might not always show it, but I put a lot of hard work and creativity into everything. School is first, then comes golf. Every single day I complete my schoolwork then head off to work on my game for hours. The game of golf relaxes me when I need a break from the world, and I love the world of golf. I can lose myself in practice because my mind runs so free with creativity in shot making and strategy. I don't have many techniques which keeps my mind free, because I know when I'm swinging well and feeling well, the rest will take care of itself. I am very determined in everything I do, and never shrink to a challenge.
