Freshman Year =The highlight of my first six months of high school has been being a member of the Varsity Chaparral High School Golf Team. I had the fortunate experience of being a part of a Arizona Division 1 Golf State Championship team. This opportunity has helped me grow as a student-athlete and what I learned from the juniors and seniors has been priceless for me; witnessing the leadership, practice habits, balancing of studies and dedication of what it takes to be a champion. I am highly motivated to continue the sharpening of my golf skills, working with my golf coach and playing in tournaments leading up to my sophomore year in order to make sure that we repeat as State Champions.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I have always been mature for my age and I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but also, the passion to succeed in everything that I do. My skills, work ethic and character will allow me to make an immediate impact on your program.
My Sophomore year, I relocated to Lake Forest Illinois and made the Varsity Golf Team in the fall. The move to the Midwest has only made me a more complete player by learning to play in the wind, rain and in the state tourney snow... This winter is all about sharpening my game as I have joined the Golf Practice Instruction working with a Hank Haney Certified Associate Instructor and endorsed by Stan Utley. My workout schedule will be made up of a ton of practice, core weight training, mindfulness and yoga preparing my body for a busy golf season.
