Personal Statement

My father first taught me to play golf at the age of 2. Since then, I have become very knowledgeable of the game and enjoy watching and playing it competitively or with friends. When I first started high school, I decided that it was in my best interest to drop other sports and devote my focus to golf and school work. In school, I am in the top 10% of my class as I push myself to take tough classes and learn as much as I can. I have kept a high GPA and I participate in National Honors Society as a senior to add to my 3 years in SADD. On the golf course, I love practicing and becoming a better golfer. I enjoy working with my swing coach and others who can help teach me how to be a better player. I am intrigued to become a college golfer, to continue to play the game I love for the rest of my life, and to share it with as many people as possible.
