I want to play golf in college because I truly love the game. Golf has been a very important part of my life as a teenager. I live on a course, work as a caddie, and have been playing competitively since 8th grade. It has taught me valuable lessons of humility, patience, and respect. My favorite aspect of golf is the opportunity to improve every day by working harder and striving to improve on my last stroke, hole, and round. Golf keeps me accountable, I have learned that hard work on the range, practice green, and time in the gym has significantly improved my game. I am learning to apply that same discipline to my education. In college, I am looking forward to my next chapter and my hope is that golf is part of my college experience. I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of the next level with longer seasons and more travel, but most importantly is joining a program with strong coaching and teammates that have the same commitment that I do. After college, I hope to continue to play golf for the rest of my life. My goal is to attend an institution that helps me get a degree in business so that I can have a fulfilling career off the course as well.
