I am a multi-sport high school athlete with a passion for golf and leadership. My goal is to pursue an education in teaching while playing golf at the collegiate level so I can help lay the foundation for my future career. I have a great mental attitude on and off the course and enjoy supporting my fellow teammates so we can be successful, not only individually, but as a team. I will always give 100% and strive to be the best version of myself. I want to improve on a daily basis so I welcome constructive criticism from my coaches and teammates. Football and wrestling have pushed me to be strong and aggressive but golf has developed my mental side. I have always worn my heart on my sleeve and in golf you compete against not only your opponent but the course and ultimately yourself so this has helped me to control my emotions when things go wrong and push me to work harder to reach my goals.
I am also highly motived in the classroom and am involved in FFA and my local church and youth group. I have learned to be disciplined in managing my time and resources so that I can be successful in both my school education and athletics. For these reasons I believe I would be a valuable asset to your team and organization. Becoming a collegiate golfer would mean to me that I have completed one more goal on my way to completing the foundation of my future career.
