My name is Mark Civanich, and I will be graduating from Trine University with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering this May. I have enjoyed my college golf career and have been 1st team all-conference all 4 years. I have recently entered the transfer portal with the desire to utilize my 5th year NCAA eligibility. My goal is to complement my engineering degree with a business degree and compete at a highly competitive Division I level.
The purpose of my email is to explore if there is an opportunity on your team for a veteran player that has experience and a proven winner. I am passionate about golf and being part of a team. In both High School and college, coaches appreciated the leadership I showed with teammates and especially younger players. I know my game can travel to compete on the Division I level, as I consistently have improved throughout my career.
My scoring average for the autumn season is 72.5 compared to my career average of 73.9. This past summer I competed in the Indiana State Amateur at Indiana University’s Pfau course and tied for 4th place. I also played at the Northern Amateur at Sand Creek Country Club and finished in 10th.
I sincerely hope there is interest to discuss an opportunity in your program. Please feel free to call or email me. I can provide more details and specifics about me, my game, and what I can offer your university. I have included some immediate references of people who I admire and who know me both in the classroom as well as on the golf course.
