Personal Statement

It would be a dream to some day become a professional golfer. I am very excited and looking forward to going to Minot State University next fall to further my studies and also have the opportunity to play golf. I have been a multi-sport athlete all throughout high school and for my final year I am competing in golf, volleyball, basketball, badminton and track and field. I qualified for provincials this fall (2014) in golf. My high school golf team finished 3rd at provincials and I finished tied for 6th overall in the individual provincial championship. Golf season has come to a close where I live and I can't wait to get back out playing next spring.

I have not yet had any formal professional coaching for my golf so I am eager to learn and improve my game next year with the help of Coach Randy Westby.

My dream of pursuing higher education while having the chance to play and grow as a golfer is coming true. I am very thankful for this opportunity!
