My name is Andrew teDuits and I am a rising senior at Boston College High School in Boston, MA. I've been an athlete my whole life, primarily focusing on competitive ice hockey and soccer, but playing golf on weekends and throughout the summer. I had a strong soccer season in ninth grade, in which I was lucky enough to be called up to varsity from the freshman roster. However, I decided to take a leap of faith by trying out for BC High's golf team the following Fall instead of playing soccer. This was one of the best decisions I could have made. Golf has become my passion. I played on the BC High golf team in my sophomore and junior years, and have improved a lot during that time. I am currently a +1.1 handicap, and after this year's season, I decided that I would like to pursue college golf. Outside of my athletic pursuits, I am a hard-working and serious student, challenging myself with AP and honors courses. I’ve spent summers on Cape Cod since I was a young kid and since the summer before 9th grade, I have held summer jobs busing tables at Eastward Ho! Golf Club and cashiering at Stop & Shop. I spend my free time on Cranberry Valley golf course working on my game. It has truly become my home away from home. I love to play golf and it would complete my college experience to be part of a team.
