Teddy Murphy '20 Recruiting Profile

I am Teddy Murphy and I attend St. Sebastian's school in Needham, Massachusetts. I am very motivated to play golf in college. I have played golf since i was very young and played competitively in the last several years. I consider myself to be an all around athlete, having played ice hockey at a high level for most of my life. In the past two years, I have decided to focus on golf over hockey and have had good results in tournaments. I know what it takes to be a student athlete in college, as my brother currently plays D-1 ice hockey at Harvard University and my father did as well. I am an excellent student.  This year I am enrolled in two honors classes and one AP class and have achieved a 3.7 GPA.  My varsity golf team has won our last three league championships, and I have compiled a career match play record of 25-3-4.  I was recently elected Captain for my upcoming Senior year.  I look forward to being part of a successful team in college.
