Hi my name is Edward Timothy Weiss but I like to go by Timmy. I play varsity soccer and varsity tennis for school. In summer I also like to play golf. I also used to love baseball but decided to give it up because I decided I liked tennis more. Tennis wasn’t always my main sport but it has always been my best sport and deep down was my favorite even when I did not know it. I have always done well in school and had a school first mindset. I will come prepared for tests, quizzes, homework, etc. no matter what. I understand how important academics are and how serious I need to be about them. Although I don’t show as much passion for academics as I do for tennis I still work tirelessly to do my best. However, tennis is different. Working hard when I play tennis comes easy for me. Since I have such a love for the game, I want to hit those extra serves, I want to do that extra sprint, I want to get that extra ball in play, regardless if I lose the point or not. Many times I have fallen just short in a match or in practice, but each time that happens it makes me want to do better the next time I play. To play collegiate tennis is a dream but no matter how hard I have to work or how many times I have to get up after I fall short I am willing to do it.
