My name is Cole Velardo and I’m currently a junior student-athlete at Masconomet Regional High School in Boxford, MA. I am starting my college search and it is my dream to play golf collegiately at the highest level possible. The last two years I've pushed myself to dramatically improve my game and reduce my handicap to a 1.5.
I continue to work with a coach and individually to improve my golf game and have been playing in tournaments with success. In my most recent high school season (junior, grade 11), I placed first individually in back-to-back tournaments for the D2 Sectionals North and Northeast Conference Open. I was again selected for Northeastern Conference All-Conference and appointed as two-year Captain of the Varsity Golf team for the upcoming 2024 season.
In the classroom, I study hard to maintain a high GPA of 4.3 and was recently inducted into the National Honor Society. I want to attend a college where I can continue challenge myself both in the classroom and on the golf course. I am open to all options and ultimately would like to play at the highest level of competition possible.
