December 2018Personal Statement
Hi!
My name is Drew Hollman and I am a sophomore at De Smet Jesuit High School is St. Louis, Missouri. I have a 3.95 GPA and was the only underclassmen to make the varsity golf team at my school as a freshman. For the four years I have been playing, I have been very dedicated to the game. I spend every day after school on the golf course and also on weekends.
I am very blessed to have amazing parents who support my love of golf and a dedicated golf coach who is helping me get to the next level. I have traveled to amazing places to play in golf tournaments.
I have been selected to play golf and represent team Missouri in 2019 in Scotland. I will be playing St. Andrews which has always been a dream of mine. I have also received an invitation to the 12th Annual FCG National Championship in San Diego.
I am a hard worker, great friend, easy to get along with, positive, and love life. I have strong faith in God and take my responsibilities on and off the course very seriously. I feel I would be a great asset to a college golf team because I am a very coachable player and apply what I have learned to my game.
I am a goal setter in school and also on the golf course. At De Smet, I am taking honors and AP classes. My goal is to play in college and continue my love of golf.
