Daniel Cook '23 Recruiting Profile

I will be the first in my family to attend a four year college and graduate. I want to attain a degree that will provide a stable source of income for myself and my future family. One of my college goals is to develop myself as a young man who cares about the world around me and discover ways in which I can impact it in a positive manner. Another college goal is to develop  relationships with others who share similar goals in life.

Several characteristics that make me a good candidate for a golf team is my passion for golf, and my desire to learn and improve daily. I have a strong ability to listen and to be coached. I bring a calm approach to situations and have the ability to focus on the task at hand.

Characteristics that might make me stand out from others is my positive attitude and outlook. I have a willingness to learn from others and not feel that I “know it all.” I am able to laugh at myself and not take myself to seriously and know that I am a work in progress. I have a great respect for other golfers who are better than me and have a great desire to improve my skills and myself daily.
