My name is William Ochab but I go by my middle name, Noah. I started golfing 3 years ago and fell in love with the sport. I was the only freshman earning a varsity letter and the scholar-athlete award in football and lacrosse. This summer I decided to prioritize golf and made it my goal to play in college. With only playing in a few amount of tournaments, I was recently able to win a Hurricane Junior Tour 2-day event. Once I decided to put all my focus and effort into golf, I noticed large improvements and dropped my handicap from a 5 to +0.5 within 5 months. Although I played two varsity sports as a freshman along with golf tournaments whenever I could fit them into my schedule, I prioritized my schoolwork over everything. I finished my freshman year of high school with a 3.9/4.0 GPA along with two honors classes. I currently work with swing coach Nick Bova (772-342-5708) and see him weekly to improve upon all aspects of my game.
