Hi, my name is Justin Forman. I am currently entering my senior year at Washington Township HS (Gloucester County, Sewell NJ) My dad took me onto the golf course when I was five years old and I have been hooked ever since. I have participated in soccer, baseball and track, but my true passion is the game of golf. I have been playing competitive golf since the age of 12. I compete in the Philly PGA Junior Tour, The Hurricane Junior Tour and events in the Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP). Golf is a major aspect of my life, but so are my academics.
While being a student athlete, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking AP and Honor classes. I am a member of the Engineering Club, and the Peer Outreach Club/Executive Board Member which does community service projects and interacts with students with disabilities. I am a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math National Honor Society), and The Science National Honor Society.
I have been on my high school varsity golf team for the past three years, earning a varsity letter each year. I have accrued numerous awards and honors. Within that time, I have been named South Jersey Times Golfer of the Year twice, South Jersey Sports Weekly Golfer of the Year, three time 1st Team All Area, and 1st Team All Tri-County Conference as well as 1st Team Olympic Conference. I am the current 2023 Gloucester County(NJ) High School Golf Champion. My high school golf team was named the 2023 Team of the Year by the South Jersey Times. In the summer of 2023, I was selected as one of the twelve members to represent Team Philadelphia PGA in the 17th Under Armour Jon M. Pritsch Cup. In the 2022 Philly PGA Junior Tour, I won the 16-18 division Tour Championship with a 74 at Chester Valley Golf Club. Also, I was awarded the Sam Penecale Scoring Average Champion award because of my consistent scores throughout my 2022 season (75.50 Scoring average).
Being involved in school activities, community service events and golf has taught me respect, teamwork, leadership, flexibility, and honesty. All of these experiences on and off the golf course continue to make me a well-rounded successful individual.
I would like to continue playing golf competitively in college while furthering my educational goals.
